Main sections of the website

The goal of this guide is to provide a more detailed presentation of all sections and user options of the website to bring to the maximum the efficiency of the complete use thereof.

The main sections of the website are accessible by three groups of menus.

The first section is organized into three subsections:

  • MATERIALS: in this section you can find various materials and articles dedicated to the problems of migrations that are published in Armenian press; POLICY BRIEFS elaborated by the International Center for Human Development, as well as brief versions of the movies from BACK TO ARMENIA movie-series.
  • AGENCY:This section represents the official webpage of the Migration Agency of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration, where you can find information on the structure and activity of the Agency, as well as continuously updated statistical data on the migration situation of Armenia.

More actual and sensitive questions re one or another area and answers thereto are presented. The goal of this subsection is to increase the awareness of migrants and the visitors of the site, in general, of various questions re migration, that is mainly necessary particularly for the migrants, having shortage of information on the current situation in Armenia, that are ready to take the decision on coming back to Armenia, and the current legislation governing the presented areas and practices.

You can have access to user options provided in the third section only after being registered in the “REGISTRATION” field on the right.

Those visitors that are being registered for the first time, after pushing the link “Register”, can fill out their personal data and select an appropriate password, after which they will be given an opportunity (like already registered visitors) to enter into their personal page, the user options of which are presented below.

In the course of registration you can use a nickname and optionally fill out the sections that you think are not necessary. The webpage ensures inviolability of your personal data and your anonymity.

PERSONAL PROFILE section

WEB TICKET: Web ticket is a peculiar way of applying to the Migration Agency of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration, where the procedure and terms defined by the legislation for answering to the requests and letters of the citizens is observed. Nevertheless, this way of posing questions has some advantages connected with performance capabilities of informational technologies. Moreover, according to an appropriate decree of the RA Minister of Territorial Administration, questions posed to the Migration Agency by this webpage can be directed via electronic system of internal documentation circulation to appropriate subdivisions of other ministries, where the question will be answered within the defined timeframe and the answer will be sent to you.

To create a web ticket, you must push the appropriate link, as a result of which the following window will appear.

 

After filling out the boxes “Author” and “Topic”, you must enter the question in the “Description” box, to which any file can be attached through “Attached file” box. Note that the text can be posted in the “Description” box in Armenian, Russian and English languages, for which there is no need of additional software to manage the keyboard. In order to write in Armenian, it is necessary to previously provide option for maintenance of Armenian language in the windows operational system (except for Windows Vista). (Control Panel\Regional and Languages Options\Languages\Supplemental language support\install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai).

Registered visitors can also create a new web ticket through «Create web ticket» link installed on the uppermost left corner of the website.

The created ticket is being sent to an employee of the Migration Agency providing the maintenance of the web page; he/she is obliged to answer to the question within a time period as prescribed under the law, and when necessary to make an inquiry to authorized persons of other ministries:

The web tickets, in which the answer is given by the Migration Agency to the raised question, are checked as follows .If the received answer is not complete and you want to edit the question or, if there is a need to provide some additional information to the Agency (including those in the form of attached files), you must click on the topic box of the open ticket, following which a window enabling you to edit the ticket will open.

The ticket is considered «open» unless you are pleased with the answer provided by the Migration Agency. Once you get a complete answer to your question, click on the «Close» button, which will change the status of the ticket.

You can once again go back to the closed web tickets via «Show the closed tickets» link. In the section being opened you can see the entire history of the correspondence with the Agency.

In cases if it is necessary to have an urgent communication with an official of the Migration Agency to ensure an effective resolution of this or that question, the registered visitors can click on the «Direct Communication» link of the Personal Profile page. The same button can also be found in the uppermost central part of the webpage.

If the operator of the Migration Agency is connected to the network at that moment and he/she is free and can answer to your questions, than via on-line chat regime you can communicate with him/her and ask the questions you are interested in. Taking into consideration the fact that the number of operators providing the maintenance of the webpage is limited and that there may be a possible discrepancy between the time zones of Armenia and your place of location, making use of this service may cause some inconveniences to you or be impossible at that moment, for which we apologize. In such cases we recommend to use the options provided by the WEB TICKET.

The history of communication is saved in the real time regime till the beginning of the next communication; before initiating the next communication, question whether the previous communication is to be continued or it is necessary to start a new one is posed to you by the website.

In the «Personal Profile» section you can change your personal information and choose a new password.

Hopefully, the options provided by the website will serve their purpose to the maximum.
